Tobie Hazard Memorial Fund

Tobie Hazard served as a trustee and officer of Historic Denver, Inc. from 2004 through 2010. Until his death in September 2011 he was a dedicated supporter of the organization and of historic preservation. He was also a particular advocate for Historic Denver’s flagship property, the Molly Brown House Museum. For this reason gifts in honor of Tobie are being directed to the Museum for lasting exterior, landscape and hardscape improvements that will enhance the site and protect it for future generations.
Funds contributed in Tobie’s honor will help address immediate capital needs such as the repair and leveling of the flagstone paths that surround the property, the repair of fencing, entrances and window screens, enhancements to visitor seating areas, as well as improved exterior landscaping and lighting. Tobie’s contributions to Historic Denver and the museum will be recognized through a plaque in the courtyard where all visitors arrive for tours. Donors to the Tobie Hazard Memorial Fund will be recognized in the organization’s quarterly newsletter.
