Night in Historic Denver
August 6, 2010
7 - 11 pm
St. Cajetan's, Auraria Campus
Join us
Friday, August 6th for a sweet summer time-traveling gala celebrating Historic Denver's forty years of preservation. Dressed in attire of your favorite Historic Denver decade (70, 80s, 90, 00s) we'll toast the great places we've helped to save and lament those lost. Food, beverages and music inspired by our history will be sure to delight.
Night in Historic Denver will take place at the historic St. Cajetan's Church, located on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver (900 9th Street). Once the heart of a diverse neighborhood, St. Cajetan's was one of dozens of buildings saved and protected when the new higher education campus was constructed in the 1970s. Now used as an events center, St. Cajetan's is the perfect place to celebrate what preservation has done for Denver.
You can also purchase a ticket to our exclusive VIP pre-party at Al's Barbershop on historic Larimer Square from 5 to 7 pm. Mix and mingle with Denver's movers and shakers, enjoy food and a full bar provided by Bauers and get ready for the best party of the summer!
TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT ARE NO LONGER FOR SALE ONLINE. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT BOTH EVENTS: AL'S BARBERSHOP AND ST.CAJETAN'S. TICKETS MAY BE PURCHASED AT THE EVENT WITH CASH, CHECK OR CREDIT CARD.
Hot to get there: If you take the lightrail to the Colfax at Auraria Station, St. Cajetan's is located just a block and a half north. (A beautiful, short walk through the historic 9th Street Historic Park.) Pay parking lots on the campus (just behind the church) are accessible from Colfax Avenue (via Osage Street) or the Auraria Parkway (via 7th Street).
Many thanks to our sponsors:
